I know you guys like pictures so i am going to post some over the next few days. These pictures were taken at mt Grandfathers farm. His name was Ed Anglemyre and he farmed near Clinton MI. The first is his AC Wc he bought new in 1937.

I am going to have to figure out how to resize the pictures I guess. The picture was taken in 1941. Grandpa is on the binder. The driver is a hired hand. He farmed 140 acres and milked 10 Guernsey cows and had about 100 head of sheep and they also had a large flock of chickens.

Tthe farm is on Lima Center Rd North of U.S.-12 First house on the east side of the road. Barns were on west side but are all gone. My cousin lives there now.

Still learning . this was the second tractor. 191? Dodge that was rearended. I think it had a truck rearend. my mother whose name was Nola ran this one. Thats her on the left. Grandpa and my aunt Geraldine.

Her last name was Girbach.
My father (and brother now), are the ones that have been growing the sunflowers in this area for the last 40 years. we lost my mother 40 yrs ago this spring, and we lost my father just this past new years day.

I am sorry to here about your father i have heard of the Girbachs. Do you know my cousin Joe Kress He lives on the farm and works it. He keeps his equipment at his fathers farm near Manchester.

no, that name doesn't ring a ball, but i went to saline schools, didn't move to this side of the tracks till i got married. here's a pic of my mother and grandfather.
