I still have a Paypal account, do not use very often but have it. Today I received a Cryptic Invoice that I will not pay or authorize to pay. A "McKenna Metcalf", Location UNKNOWN is invoicing for Norton 360, just so happens pay for that with a CC on account with the company and paid last month for the next year. Fee seemed the biggest set off, at $615 instead of the general $109 is normal charge. Misspelled words, bad grammar, suspicion is a Phishing Expedition.

Hey Dave,,I "thought" I posted something like this last week or so,,,Scared the CHIT out of me as mine was for $895 There was some mispelling but the gist was that my PayPal account would be charged within 48 hours for that amount. I contacted PayPal as I have not chgd anything with Paypal in years and the CC I used then had been replaced a few times. The person at PayPal assurred me my account had not been used in over two years and there was not a current CC,,,,WHEW,,, They also said the scammers were hitting them and The GEEK Squad pretty hard. Best contact Paypal just to have your complaint on file,,,,

Get a notice about once a week my Norton is expired and IMMEDIATE payment is due
Only problem Norton when I did run it many years back screwed up Quick Books progran and could not run both -
So along about 1992 or so stopped Norton - Any notice now from them is PHISHING , SPAM or total FRAUD

I do use Norton, contacted them and they are pursuing the fraud use of the corporate logo.

I have a Paypal account , dont leave no money in it, but transfer from checking when i use it- yes you have to watch , there is always someone trying to pull something all the time

Log in, change your password, turn on "two step" authorization - where they text or call you with a special number to allow access. Extra work, but it provides peace of mind.
