You may choose the title. Coming home from watching fireworks and put a deer through the grill of our less than a month old Buick Enclave Avenir. Everyone is OK. Like James Bond's vodka martini, we are shaken, but we are not stirred. Now, can the body shop get parts?

Uggg AngryOuchCryYin Yang It's just a piece of tin. It can be replaced.

Son just finished repairing car for one of his employees who hit a deer about a month ago . Had to replace windshield , door , hood , left front fender , = all good and after driving it for 4 days it overheated and warped the head * OR somehow over heated and blew the head gasket .
Life lesson: If you’re being chased by a lion, you’re on a horse, to the left of you is a giraffe and on the right is a unicorn, what do you do? You stop drinking and get off the carousel.

We are lucky that way. We didn't loose any fluid. Our man even drove it up on the rollback deck. It sounds fine. Sounds like seat belts will be the hardest parts to come by. I am shocked the air bags didn't go off.

Must have been some big deer to strain seat belts. Air bags are suspect considering the description.

Friend's sister in law hit one last week with a 2 year old Ford SUV. They told them that if the air bags would have gone off they would have totalled the vehicle. She was taking the long way to town because of road construction by their farm when she hit it.

Yeah, air bags are EXPENSIVE, and now I've heard rumblings amongst insurance talk that not only expensive, but then liability associated with employing properly next time, and associated repair issues from all the crap that has to be taken apart for an install.

My insurance repaired my 2010 Impala four times due to Deer Strikes, NOT Once set off the bags, accorded the Body man the sensors did not get tagged.  Even So, last turn when one headlight was busted, insurance adjuster said Shame, had it broken Both would have been a total.

Numerous deer accidents around here, numerous within the family and extended family. Never an airbag deployed, never. Not that violent of a crash despite all the cosmetic damage done.

I have hit 7 deer where I live.  Never once had my airbags go off.  Lots of cosmetic damage.

Had a 93 Suburban once upon a time. Took out three in a herd of 15. The grill flexed enough to poke a hole in the oil cooler but the grill remained undamaged as well as the bumper
