I don't know of any 80 Series that attached to Snap Coupler. The No. 7 did though. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/284205056163?epid=17045508334&hash=item422bf100a3:g:nj0AAOSwXbNgPt~- |

look in the parts book. Shows the brackets needed. Hangs off the pins where the draw bar hangs. And the balance spring, has like a C bracket that bolts around bottom of axle.

Your tractor is missing the drawbar brackets where the mower bracket mounts. MACK

80R3 wouldn't need the drawbar brackets, but would need a 3 pt hitch. G |

Gary I know that.
I just was confused with the statement that it doesn’t look like his old D17 under there, and the drawbar/3pt set up is dif then the one he had b4. The pictured tractor looks just our 57 D17 minus the drawbar brackets

OP should have an operators manual for his mower. Then he would have known what brackets he needs and what is missing from his tractor.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

The brackets that you are missing are tractor related, not mower related (even though your mower bracket does attach to them). So I would head to a salvage yard to find them. The draw bar bail attaches to the missing brackets as well. Darrel
