I have my 8050 split now and read the earlier post on the torque limiter.  What should I check as long as it is split?  My torque limiter all the springs in it were shot, so I ordered another one.  Should I replace everything?  It looked like the disc would have to be resurfaced, but the rest seemed alright.  I don't want to have to split it again for fun.  Thanks again in advance.

I just did one (and posted about it here) a month or 2 ago. I had the flywheel resurfaced, replaced engine and transmission seals (mine were both leaking) replaced the bellview washer on the TL but I didn't replace the plate. Big mistake I think, it's bow slipping and I don't know what else would be causing that. I had the plate checked by a machine shop and they said it was true but there must have been something screwed up with it. The service manual says you can't have that resurfaced and they're only 160 or 80 bucks.

Long story short, as long as you're in there do all the parts you can get
