 Topic: will a loader from a d17 fit a d15?

i can buy a loader with pump and all for 700.00 its on a d17 now can that go on my d15?.. i can get a pic later think its a 400 loader?

I don't remember if the 15 and 17 frames are similar enough in width, but for $700 if it doesn't fit I can't imagine you'd lose money on it. I paid that for mine (which didn't have the pump, valves and all required plumbing) all said now, I'm about $2K into adding that loader. While I'm not regretting spending that amount, I sure would have been happier at half :)

I have a 415 on my D17 series 3 fits fine except the back angle irons that go to the axel are different angles it should fit fine

A 400 loader is an all hydraulic loader. It requires FOUR outlets on the back of the tractor. The frame width of the tractors are the same. The D-15 is a little shorter and the axle connections are different.

Mike,
Do you know if this is currently on a Series 4 D17? If yes, then the remotes(valves) are probably not included with the loader as the series 4 had live hydraulics and often came with remotes (I believe).
If you don't have live already on your tractor you'll really want to add it, as 1.5gpm from the factory pump will be unbearably slow.
I use the tank built into the vertical post for my hydraulic tank

He says it has the pump so the remotes are not an issue. You only need the shaft for a D15.\ and the rear axle brackets.

Joe is right all that is different is the front shaft and the back angle iron as I said before . You can get new pump parts from Aand W in Green Bay
