Seeing the Mighty 8010 on the Big Sale bill and it gets me to thinking. 

Would the Mexican Hats, with different wedges, work on the 4" axles?

What brand of fuel pump was used on the 8010? 

Does it have a fuel push/pull button like the 7000 series? I wouldn't think so. I would think it would be like the 8050 or 8070.

My 8010 has the ambac pump, no push/pull bottom, kills by pulling the throttle past low idle, like big brothers..IIRC, a few early 8010's may have had Roosa pumps, I'll hafta check Norms book,I think that's where I read that..

Don't know about the Mexican hats..by seems logical...

Shuts off by throttle - all   - Mexican hats will work on all 7000/8000 (not 3.25 7000 axles)
