We got 30" of snow yesterday in Central Vermont. My WC did a great job with 7' Fischer plow with electric driven hydraulic pump and 100 amp 12V alternator. We wouldn't have gotten out of here without the WC.

We sold a WC with a V-plow the width of the roads to a Catholic Home. Worked really fine. Was exactly the right fit. Very efficient plow. Did not take that much power Nice looking WC Have Fun Good Luck! Bill Long

The plow frame was from the trip front end loader that was on the tractor originally.

I bought the chains 20 years ago from Tire Chains.com for about $175. Probably double that now. Also 12V is the only way to go when starting in sub zero weather.

Wow 30 inches! Yes that is the tractor you need for that job. Nice looking rig too! When I was a kid We had one of the 45's with a loader on it and made a homemade snow plow for it. The part I really liked was the fact you could push snow up and over the pile! Really moved a lot of snow to keep the drive cleared bay in the late 70's when we had snow storms like that! 77-78 was the best!  Regards, Chris

We used a WD45 with a humbolt loader to move snow in the 50’s. Put on a blade instead of bucket. Was slow but better than shovelling. Then went to snowblower. A v-type pull type(and let’s not have another crazy discussion on pull type). Lol. For those that may not remember these you drove thru the snow and the vee just pushed it into the centre and the fan looked after it. Was fast and easy but not so good in deep snow and of course packed it down a bit as well. Things have sure changed in last 50-60 years! 😀
