I was watching the AC video on plowing Mike shared. It showed a WD (I think) with a snap coupler field cultivator. Does anyone have one ? They look pretty neat. I wish I had one! Its sad that alot of the old implements just didn't survive like the tractors.
It is great being a disciple of Jesus! 1950 WD, 1957 D17...retired in Iowa,

I had 1. A complete unit. I bought a pulltype IHC and never used it. I sold it, always hoped the young man that bought it put it to good use.

I have an eight foot and use it often. The implements survive, but the scrap man is the one who sees the value.

Not a snap coupler but an old field cultivator. Got this one in Minnesota some years ago and the owner referred to it as a "quack digger".  Guess there used to be a lot of quack grass around there years ago. I think this implement may date form the 1930's or so. Any body know? It has a very little original orange paint. I gave it a good cleaning / wire brushing and a coat of linseed oil, a new spring, trip rope and a few bolts.

I have a 12 footer with gage wheels that was snap coupler but I changed it over to 3 point 30 years ago and still use it often behind 1967 series IV 17. Needing to put new points on it though.

That is a nice cultivator Dave. My dad had that exact unit but with two gauge wheels on it. I spent many hours as a kid  running it with a WD45. Great combination.

I use it with my '45 in the garden primarily.  Works very nice for that.  Glad to have it! Had some pix of it with the '45, but they wouldn't upload, so . . .  Dave
