What were the differences between the Allis Chalmers 7030 and 7040's? 7040's had a Power Shift Transmission option and 5 or 6 more Horsepower and Longer Axles.

What are the other differences other than the Model numbers?

Power Shift wasn't available until very late 1975, which was a year after the intro of the 7040.  Hydraulic outlets were moved to a better location. Power Director transmission actually had 19 speed choices out of 20 selections instead of 15 or so on the 7030.  Engine had piston cooling jets, 7030 did not. Rear axle diameter sizes were 3 3/4" instead of 3 5/8". Long axles were available on the 7030, just not many were sold.  Warning flashers eventually got moved down off of the rooftop. That's all I can remember.
