put in new rear main seal, dual clutch discs & throwout bearing & new lift pump w/ sediment bowl in tractor that has not been started in 5 years  & was stored inside. bled 2 fuel filters aok, bled inj pump body aok but noticed one fitting was a little loose so added pipe tape threads  around  base. op man says to crack cylinder 1 & 4 at base of injector (hi pressure). get no (zero) fuel. checked inj pump inlet screen & was aok. tapped lightly on inj pump body. still no fuel at injector. when injector top (overflow) loosened was fuel stream aok without air.

is pump gummed up & need rebuild ?   thanks

very likely the plungers are stuck. CAV and Roosa pumps don't like sitting in old fuel very long.
