I post from my computer all the time. FIRST thing you do is RE-SIZE your pix, ( I do it in paint, only takes a few seconds to do) then post the copy. The ideal size is 640 x 480. -- These go in most forums. If they dont, then go smaller, like 320 or so.
On MBN we use a 10mb size limit so anything bigger wont post. ---It mostly depends on how the forum software is set up, different forums have different settings!

Photobucket works again for me and no charges at this time. I think they realized they were doomed when they were requesting $400 per year for storing your photos. I use "imgur" now but my Photobucket site now works like it used to. But I havent added any pictures to it.
Yes as mentioned I resize to 640 x 480.

 Chris

Maybe I do it wrong, but it always works for me...
I upload the pictures to the 'file manager' here FIRST.
Then when I want to add/post a picture I grab it FROM the 'file manager'.
We're give 80meg which is about 240 '640x480' or 'email' quality pictures. Less qty of pix if you  go bigger obviously.

I'm thinking those that have problems are trying to DIRECTLY go from PC into the 'message' ?

That's what I was trying to do and it don't work.
I can resize them in paint but I have to figure out this file manager.

Instead of REPLY, click on the POST REPLY button below the last post... A new "REPLY" box comes up...... Click on the GREEN TREE and it will bring up a list of any pictures you have stored on THIS SITE... YOu can also BROWSE your own computer from that point and UPLOAD your photos to this site and post.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

As Steve said, use post reply.
Then browse for picture.
Resize to 640 x 480.
Then upload.
So simple that my 3 year old GD can do it.

By saying "direct from my computer", you mean you are uploading it to the site.  It's the ONLY way it can be done.

A person CANNOT post DIRECTLY to the forum from their PC.  Otherwise when you turn your PC off, the picture will be gone.  Thus, you are 'uploading' it to the file manager on this site and then posting it.

Sorry Sonny, but I don't think you can do it any other way

WOW!!!  I think they ARE!!  There is NO watermark from them in the pic.
WE'RE BACK IN BUSINESS guys!  Hope it stays that way!

I went looking for the lengthy write up I had made about them and it was in the (I think) knowledge base, but I can't find it.  It was a big help to others who have questions about posting pics.  I'll have to ask Tuck what happened??
