Book says 16 quart 7010,16 quart 8010. I put 12 quart in and it's at full. Tractor has a combine engine transplant. Combines took less?

Was it full when you changed the oil did you drain 3 gallons out or 4 gallons out
You can wash the dirt off the body but you can’t wash the farmer out of the heart and soul

It was in the "run" level not full. I didn't measure it. But the turtle catch pan wasn't close to full. Maybe 2 1/2-3 gal.

When they say 16 quarts that means with two new oil filters being changed at the same time. 14 quarts into the pan and 2 quarts to the filters. Combine transplant ??  WHAT YEAR AND MODEL COMBINE ??   I would certainly trust the dipstick as long as it's the one that came in it from the combine.

Have no idea on the combine. Engine does have the intake with out the cast in Allis Chalmers script. I did change the filters also. I fired it up,idled for a few minutes to circulate and shut it back down. After that it read right on the "add" mark. That pan is wider and longer as it gets closer to the block. Maybe it will suck up that last gallon. I'm going to trust the dipstick just sneak up on it a quart or two at a time.

Sounds like you may have an older style engine with the cam driven oil pump. Is the oil pan deepest at the front or the center? I think the older engines had a smaller oil capacity. Also the factory engine should have 2 identical full flow oil filters.

I think my 200 takes 15 quarts. I fill the filters up before they go on the engine.

Took a look the other day. Center sump oil pan. Tapers up away from sump front and rear.
