My d-17 project is up & runningBig smile quiet & good oil pressure. The Temp won't come up I replaced the gauge same result. I thought if it was sticking closed engine would overheat, & if stuck open it would at least get the needle off the 130 mark, "aftermarket gauge". All hoses are getting warm, open radiator & its very  warm to finger, but won't burn you. thanks keith so.va.

Put the tractor to work!  It will take a long time to get temperature up if it's just putting around the yard.
