The machine was handled by MINNPAR in Mpls MN as the stocking distributor of OEM parts for the machine and still has access to some things  Other parts can be found through other dealers like Perkins for engine and such , there are a couple individuals on here that also can supply needed parts for repair also for clutch parts for fwd/ rev clutch pack . Other things like hydraulic cylinders, seals , and packing can be found at local shops that do that type of work as parts are common sizes for industry. Not a lot of the machines out there but those of us who have them - like them both for the work they can do for the price we paid for them . Edited by Coke-in-MN - 29 Jun 2018 at 1:43pm

Does anyone know what kind of hydraulic connection or type of connection they used on my 715 D? BSP distinguishes between two types of threads. These are parallel threads (BSPP), which have a constant diameter, which are known a G threads, and taper threads (BSPT), whose diameter increases or decreases along the length of the thread, known as R threads. IC fittings, defined by the SAE J514 and MIL-F-18866 standards, are a type of flare fitting machined with a 37-degree flare seating surface. JIC (Joint Industry Council) fittings are widely used in fuel delivery and fluid power applications, especially where high pressure (up to 10,000 psi) is involved. also this was interesting to but now adds more questions then it answered https://www.hydraulicsdirect.com/Fitting-Thread-Chart-s/1934.htm Edited by copperhead1971 - 30 Jun 2018 at 10:17am

Most all will be JIC, as far as my Allis machines are. Allis also used a typical hydraulic pump mounting as their AG tractors that Coke can illuminate on as to breaking or cracking.

I hate to spoil the party but what you have in the picture is an early 715 from the late 70's. It will have the Perkins 236 engine. The rear end is Ford. 715B had the self leveling bucket and loader control a floor mounted long stick. I've owned both and currently have a 715B. The 715C was the same with the Allis 200 cu.in engine with a turbo. Late 715C were branded CDS, A 715D with have a Cummins engine and be a CDS.

Mine is a 715 B  - D 1981 year - late style cab , perkins 234 , also digmore extenda hoe , was plumbed for a compactor and or hammer with aux valve .  Bought from City as they had 2,000 hours on it but time frame for replacement was up , could only have so many years on any equipment and must be replaced .

My 715B If you kind of look under the lift cylinder you can see the brace for the hydraulic pump , chrome piece, the pumps will crack mounting area in the front timing casting unless the update kit is installed or like I did brace pump to something solid to prevent movement .

Went to Baldwin Filter company page I use, NAPA Numbers are 1806 Oil, 1515 Trans, 3166 Fuel and 2222 Air. Baldwin numbers by App: BT216 Oil, B2 Trans, BF825 Fuel and PA1667-FN Air. PH8A is INCORRECT for the Perkins, thread and seal size will fit but NOT correct application. 1806 is designed for the engine in it. 1515 is a interchange to PH8A for the trans. Teeth on mine I bought at JD dealer - depending what type of shank is on the bucket - there are pin type , and there are clamp type - shank size to fit tooth vary - another of the book might not be right things -

thanks for the reply coke...  i had some pics of backhoe from last trip up north but no-one knows what happened to the sd card likely still sitting on table up north... the bucket looks to be original to the backhoe ,, i m assuming the part numbers would work if they could be crossed... by parts manual it didn't matter what bucket you got the teeth were the same except for the number of how many were on the bucket
