For all you computer gurus,,,,,does anybody know of an app for androids do do real time price checking like while at Walmart,,?? I'm beginning to suspect most stores do not restock their shelves with the current regular price much less their sale prices. It just pi**** me off to get to the checkout and some items ring up the wrong price,,,and,,,,the price is ALWAYS higher,,never lower,,PFTTtttt,,,I always tell em I want the advertised sale price or I leave it on counter. I would like to have an app on my phone to check current price while I'm standing there where item is instead of at the checkout,,,,,

Joe….that's why them price checker stations are placed all over wally world, you can scan your items and it'll tell you what the prices are. they are usually hanging on a post in different parts of the store in isles. our store, the prices if different from the shelf prices are usually always lower at the check out.

Yep. the walmart app. Walmart has their own app that has the ability to scan the bar code on a product and give you the price of that item.

Well,,Shameless,,,this Walmart does have one (1) of those price checkers on a pole bout the middle of store,,not in the food section.,, but the dang thing is bonkers most of the time and if you is lucky enough you might be able to find a person that has one of their handhelds,,,,,,,,I'm always keeping my eyes open to see if they lay one of them down,,,,its gonna find itself a new home,,,,,  I got into a rather loud "meeting" with the store manager last week and with bout 11 customers listening,,,thas all I could stop to listen,,,, I told her I was sick and tired doin my shopping according to THEIR sales brosures and then get to checkout and get charged higher prices on several items,,,!! With most stores using the bar codes,,,NOBODY puts prices on individual items anymore. All them women present were nodding their heads and agreeing with me. The store manager told us that "sometimes" the registers did not catch the sales updates was reason for the discreptancies,,,one lady asked the mgr if that was not HER job? NO answer,,,,I told her I did NOT want to have to check every item for correct sales price and if she could not assure us of that,,I would go shop elsewhere,,,,,that Mgr looked me right in the eye and asked me if I knew a certain man in Nebraska,,,?? I told her "yeah,,and he told me what to say" What you think bout thet,,,??  I quit shoppig at one of the stores up in Roswell cause they do this all the time,,and I don't want to HAVE to check their prices at the checkout,,!! I'm gonna check that one out, John,,Thanks,,,

WOW, I can`t say I have had any problems with WalMart, but our Meijers store is something else. They will hang an "On Sale" sign with the new sale price and then hang it in front of a similar item that is not on sale. Of course the unsuspecting consumer will pick up the wrong item and most do not watch when at the check out. I do and I ask to see the manager and we go back together and I always raise hell about it and he says oh somebody made a mistake and put the sign on the wrong item. Of course I say it is not a mistake you do it on purpose and you know it. I`m surprised that they don`t bar me from the store. The problem I have every so often at Walmarts is not getting the correct change back, usually only 20-30 cents and always no proof, and it is always to their advantage. And when feed a bunch of change the machine don`t always add it up correctly so I feed my coins one at a time and wait till it registers. I am a firm believer in "it just as good in my pocket as it is in theirs."

You have to watch Wally World closely, the bin tag and register price don't always match and it is usually in their favor. Had something similar at Sears some years back, found a set of large combination wrenches at a good price the register rang it up at nearly twice the price so I told the sales clerk to get the store manager. I got the wrenches at the bin ticket price and I think somebody got their butt chewed. No store manager wants a loud argument in front of other customers.

Hey Hubert,,,that right there is my pet PEEVE,,,when I'm doin the shopping I keep a runnin total of things I throw in the cart and it just flat pi***me off to get to checkout and their total is way higher than mine,,and,,,and,,,it NEVER in your favor,,. Ya see,,I took ole Shameless' idea of raisin cain with the manager right there with as many people present as possible,,,,,I always make the statement,,," Not only do you steal money from your customers,,,you force your employees to be part of the stealing" That one always causes a few "Gasps" from the crowd,,, I used to shop at a store up in the alien town but you could almost bet,,,you was going to have to check their prices at checkout,,cause there was gonna be some shenanigans at checkout,,,I had my crowd moment there over a year ago and ain't been back since,,,,
