What similarities or differences are there between a gleaner 800 & a M-F 9850 flex head & what is U2 reel all about? Thanks Dave     PS, what is involved to put that 9850 head on a R-50 ?

think the 8000 and 9250 the same?  Will have to lower the throat down ,  and put in panels for the side.  - switch harnesses and auto height control,   hydraulic lines,
and of course the 50 must have the late hydraulic reel drive.  And what width?
A 500 would be a better fit...???
The U2 reel is a great reel - smaller in diameter and will work better than an orbit HC reel.  Aluminum and flips over for less wrapping.
When told "it's not the money,it's the principle", remember, it's always the money..
