Found at the dump this afternoon, I save strange items. Then maybe it was because it had a nice shine to it.

Came with a full box of brand new needles.

Another dump find, Ford New Holland kerosene heater.

Also the small kerosene unit near the front of the truck.

Those syringes are worth (cost!) a lot of money. I can't tell if it s a 30 or 50cc but in any event if the glass barrel is intact, hang on to it or get  a good buck for it.(they are listed in most supply catalogues). I have 2 of each size and wouldn't be in the cattle business without them.

Yeah like Ken says that's one of the better syringes. Sometimes the rubber gaskets in them will dry out & they'll leak. New gaskets are readily available, easy fix.

Found the item, its called a multi dose, this syringe on the smallest trigger setting administers 52 / 1 ml doses.

I have no real uses for it, the largest domestics we have at the moment are a couple of stray cats that wandered in about a month ago.

The young calico knows enough to travel near cover so her enemies probably won't be those from above. Unless a hungry Owl descends from a tree. The black and white tom not so cautious.

Seems that we just fatten up the strays for the wild life.

Miss my Jack Russell, Cooper named after the Austin Mini.

Passed away a year and a half ago aged 14.

It wouldn't hurt Pats feelings nor mine if one of you fellows made an offer on the multi.

Yes a very nice vaccine gun,have several. Now they push the plastic ones,if they make SS now you probable cannot afford it.

Plugged the Kerosene heater in, fired right up and it's very quite. I don't keep my shop heated around the clock so this heater will come in handy when its time to warm up the Simplicity 9020 for blowing snow.

That day at the dump there was another fins that I made no mention of, an old Evenrude Fastwin that was inside an old boat that someone had discarded. Engine spent it's life in fresh water.

The engine is from around 1957 or 8 which was the last year  for an all metal cover, the boat has fins that look like they were copied from a 57 Ford. The interior is shot, if I can borrow a trailer I'll probably find room for the boat.

Before making that decision I'll pound the hull with a rubber mallet to see if there's any fiber glass separation.

My best find was a green donut with shoulder straps, hose with a gun on the end of the hose. After doing a bit of research soon found out it was a WWII British Ackpack flame thrower nick named the Lifebuoy. flamethrower.

Years later the box was used to store books and was lined with period news paper on the bottom.

We find all sorts of neat junk.

One great advertisement I found was from the Hudson’s Bay in Lethbridge. They were advertising Christmas Hampers in December 1911. They had a wide range of different ones.

Anytime there's always something for everyone.

At our local site they've discarded a bunch of this plastic culvert and there's about half a dozen full length pieces available for the taking.

I have no need for it so I passed the information over the Rob a friend who farms 12.000 acres, he'll send one of the hands over on Tuesday to get the good pieces. Much to long for my small truck otherwise I would have delivered them to the farm.
