Just bought a 175 gas with clutch out is it easier to pull the engine or split the tractor and anything else I need to look at while its apart? It's new to me so don't know much about it, 4500 hours so maybe check the rods and mains then since I don't know the history of it, thanks again

Split is the only way. Checking mains and rods is a complete waste of time. At 4500 hrs most of those were overhauled once already recently.

I've always thot the 175 gas was a special tractor as they were the last tractors built by AC that offered a gas engine, most were sold diesel so you have a collector tractor there as far as I'm conserned .
