Seventy Three years ago the allies landed in Normandy France.  There were more ships, planes, men, and equipment that the world have ever seen and have never seen since.  It was a HUGE undertaking that spelled the end of the Nazi Reign of terror.
When I was in the Army on leave I walked the beach called Omaha.  How those men landed, took control of the beach, and set up a beachhead was beyond me.  You did not have far to travel to see the cost.  There was a cemetery where those who died were buried.   Neat and clean but the number was over powering.
I hope we can all pause a moment and give thanks to those who sacrificed all that memorable day.
Good Luck!

I have seen the movie of the landing several times... Unbelievable.  Cant imagine it for real.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.
