Looking for help with the hydraulic system on a AC 160. All has been fine but recently it has started to run very very hot. So hot that the hoses are not fun to touch. Before this all has been well. Any suggestions ?

Is the filter plugged ours is one of the earlier 160s it had the high pressure screen I bypassed it because the hose was rotted and hard to get. I tapped a simple filter into the suction line going the pump works great
