I disassembled a 1934 WC engine to a bare block. the block doesn't have any cracks in the top or bottom, but has a freeze crack on the side. If you want the block come get it. It is on my iron pile now.

I don't need the block but I would like the dash number for the casting and engine serial number and if possible the serial number of the tractor it came out of for my chart I am building. So far I only have two from 1934 blocks:
U 3019-2 W312 U 3019-3 W1835 http://www.allis01.com/fossto/AC-WC-Engine-Data.html Edited by TomMN - 26 Apr 2017 at 11:24am |

I've recently gotten a 1936 WC in my shed. Where are the casting number and engine serial number located?

The casting # is on the block under the oil filter and mag. The engine # is facing rearward on the block just in front of the clutch inspection cover.
