I believe I remember a restored one that came up for auction, from a large collection that was being liquidated, three or four years ago. I believe the hammer price was much less than they are asking for this one.

That one isn't in the registry. The problem with rare tractors is you never know when another one will pop up and all of a sudden they aren't rare anymore.

I remember an article in one of the tractor magazines (I think it was Antique Power) that listed where the Waukesha B's were shipped; and one was shipped to LaFargeville, NY. Perhaps this is that tractor. It's only about 45 miles from LaFargeville.

It was run through Kelleher's auction a couple weeks ago as my brother in the area called me on it. Story is seller's wife bought it for him as a project some years ago and he went completely through it. Told my brother it would likely go back home as auction was not big enough turnout in that area to bring in the serious buyers.
Brother is looking for a D15II gas SC, if anyone knows of one within 4-5 hours of Central NY . . . . |

Several of those have changed hands for much less than what they think it is worth, I think they are in for sticker shock, backwards. BUT as been said many times all it takes is two bidders with deep pockets and a want and us rail birds can get a rude awakening too

One went in Michigan at an auction two years ago for $2800 it ran but needed repaint. I would have jumped on it if I would have known it would go so cheap. I want one bad just broke now. I think they should be around $5000

If you have one like that and think it's only worth $5000 then just give me a call, I'll come take it off your hands.
