What are WC's worth now? A few years ago they'd bring $2-2.5K easy, but now it seems like they bring less than that. What do nice restored ones bring? What about good running originals?

Around my area nobody really wants them They are not bringing much. My dad bought a styled with good tires and great sheet metal for $400. Unstyled may bring a little more. I gave $750 for my unstyled but have no interest in selling it. I paid $600 for my styled WC but I was willing to go a lot more becaus4e it is the one I learned to drive on. It was a close family friend's auction I bought it.

That is great! Family machines are always the best to finally get/buy back, regardless of color! If I could find Grandpa's Gleaner A, I'd be in heaven.

The average WC has never been worth $2500 around here. Seems like they have been a $600-1000 tractor my entire life. Real nice ones might bring a bit more on a good day, I am talking about your average running WC, not tore up too bad or jury rigged, nor shiny trailer queens or serial #2

Originals have been fetching some serious money. Otherwise, like what everyone else has said under $1000 should catch one. I have seen very nice originals sell for $3500-$15000. Some say that is crazy, but I love original tractors and if I had the money to spend on such a machine I would do it.
