I have read here the ih 140 bushing could be found in an oilite model,i can;t seem to find one that says so.I can find them as brass and they do appear to be the right size.Can someone suggest a supplier.

I don't know the part number, but you can buy a variety of oiled bearings from McMaster Carr... If I could not find the right size, I would buy one that was too small on the inside or too big on the outside and turn down on the lathe to fit.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Mcmaster-carr, MSC, or Enco, all sell oilite, in 13" lengths, in various diameters...
