LATE MODEL SYSTEM - HAS GEAR PUMP
lift arms drift up - can push them down or stop them with
about 100#'s pressure. At idle they do not raise.
Customer did all the things suggested - spool centered, draft
and position backed off,,,
Somehow we have system back pressure entering the passage
going to lift arms... any ideas?
When told "it's not the money,it's the principle", remember, it's always the money..

The traction Booster valve is most likely stuck. It's a common problem with these tractors as the adjustment never get changed enough to keep the valve free, the same for the position control valve.  Have someone move both lever and another look up from underneath. The valve plunger should follow behind the linkage.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

My D-12 III has the same problem, its in the linkage, if ya try to adjust the TB, something makes it start acting up, so I just leave the TB alone, when using 3 point equip...
