I have the oil cooler off my 8070. The service manual says to take the cooling tube assembly out. Before i start, will it come out with a little tap on one end?
Thanks Randy

You need to whittle down a 4" x 4" block of wood and put it up against the cooler core to drive it out of the housing.

check the front side tubes carefully, if a water pump ceramic seal has ever broke it will stick in one of the holes and sometimes vibrate and wear a hole or a thin spot where the tube is soldered to the plate. When you take it apart it, the ceramic piece, may fall in the front housing un noticed. Make sure the weep holes in the housing are open and not clogged with paint or crud.
When told "it's not the money,it's the principle", remember, it's always the money..

When you reassemble, make sure the orings go the right place. Two are made to seal oil the other two to seal antifreeze.  You will also notice a price difference.   MACK

And make sure the dealer just doesn't hand you all the o-rings in one unmarked bag. They used to be colored different but aren't anymore. I took them all back and got new ones, which I had to wait for, in the original package with part numbers. Parts man, who was apologetic about it, was otherwise clueless. All parts guys should be a farmer first, then a mechanic before becoming a parts man.

They came in different bags with the different numbers on them. Your rite, all the same color, but a big difference in price in the 2. Thanks for all the help.
