Brought another home today. Late 54 WD45. Hopefully just have to put the jigsaw puzzle back together.
Big thanks to BennyLumpkin (Ryan) for getting me in touch with the previous owner.

So far, it looks like everything is there.

Tim, yes I'm going to get it running. Make sure everything is working right & fix any leaks. Then paint it up.

JW, I saw that tag on the power steering pump today. I'll email you the info tomorrow.

Claus, the previous owner started to restore it. Then had health issues & past away. His widow didn't want it parted out.
This is one I will probably pass down to my kids.

She's not pretty but she's got great lines and comes from excellent breading stock. Paint her, don't paint her, either way, I like her allot.

Ray,
i can see you have put a lot of work into this tractor already. I'm not sure I would paint it either? I like it as it! Looks solid and ready to work.

Dan & Mark, yeah I already sent her pictures & update New Year's Eve. I had no idea, but she said that day was the one year anniversary of her late husband's funeral. So I sent them at a time she really needed some happy thoughts.
That all made THIS project very special.

Chris, I'm planning making this one into a parade, working & maybe even pulling tractor.
It is one of the most complete original ones I've found yet. It even has the tall fender mounts. I've already replaced both rear final drive spindle bearings & seals on it. These are the rear rims I made a post about on the forum.

So far she runs very well Steve. I need to break the motor in under a load. It has a new 45 crank, 4-1/8 crater pistons & sleeves. Can hand crank it & runs very nice & smooth. Brought it up to operating temp 4 times now. Great oil pressure. Only problem is the original 6V system won't spin it very well to start it. Has brand new 6V battery. I'm little concerned a bearing may be to tight. Still need to rebuild the carb on it.

Fine job Ray!!  If you can hand crank it with the plugs out easily then I would say you may need to look at the starter but I would not do much until I had a few hours on the girl.  I like it!!! Thumbs Up
