I'm replacing all of my gauges on my instrument panel but I don't know what goes in the only hole above the steering column. Is it a hole for the Tachometer wires or something else?
![]() So far I've replaced the amp, oil, traction control, water temp gauges along with the fuse holder, light switch, ignition switch and panel light. |

On the later series that is for the tach cable. Tach clamps to the steering column.
Series one does not have that opening.
