Does anybody have pictures of factory mounted and pluming of the water filter and lines. Or if you have one on your 6000 how does it look. Going to put one on and figurd make it look good. Thanks

My 6080 has one. It's on the left side, tucked up under the side shield, close to the cab.
No pictures, but it is a nice job. None of it is visible with the shield on. |

Also would it mater if I use a filter set up off a cat or Cummings engine. I can grabe one out of neighbors scrap bin.

You can also just use the correct type of TREATED antifreeze and the problem is solved.

Make sure if you use a filter, you use the correct one for the type of antifreeze. If you are using ELC (the red stuff), you don't want the filter with the SCA additives, you just want a plain filter. If you are using the traditional antifreeze (green or yellow usually) then you'll probably want an SCA filter unless you are manually adding the coolant additive and testing it on a regular interval with the test strips.

Ok thanks. Yea the ones laying there from the trucks are older and used green like tractor then ill get new filter to go with it.
