Allis 9' trailer disc

A friend of mine has been kind enough to give me a very good deal on a 9 foot Allis trailer disk. Tires look good, disks look fair and he said he converted the bearings over to greasable by drilling holes and adding zerks. It looks like a newer model, as it has the triangular Allis logo on the decal. It also has two hydraulic lines running to the transport cylinder. Can I switch this to work with the one way hydraulics on my D 17? If I just add a breather to the one side of the cylinder will the weight of the disc be enough to retract it?
Also, he is near Peoria and I am in northern Minnesota so I need to figure way to get it up here. I have a single axle trailer but I'm worried about the weight. Does anyone know approximately how much a disk like this would weigh?

We have the sintered mufflers in stock at my work, so I can get them pretty cheap. My trailer is 6' x 10' so we figured we could take the hitch off lay it sideways and we would have a couple inches hanging out over the end. So I guess maybe it is a 10' foot disk. I'm just worried about having a overloaded trailer for 500 mile trip. 3000# axle leaves me under 2000 lbs for cargo. And I would rather not run it right up to the limit for a trip that far. By the time I get home I think I'll have more into hauling cost than I have into the disc. We can't meet him halfway either because we have no way to transfer.

Looking at pics from Norm's book, it looks like it is a 200 series. Weight looks like around 2000 give ir take so my trailer is out.
Looks like this disc has the dreaded Bal-Pak bearings. If I remember right these are hard to get and really expensive.

No, I am going to get it. Just a matter of how and when. He is a good friend and is setting a more than fair price. He says the bearings are tight now, and I've only got a couple 3 acres here that I farm so it should last me a long time. I have a king cutter three point 6 1/2 foot disc that I use now and I hate the damn thing. Or I should say King Kutter – it's not a bad disc it's just That King Kutter is such a pain in the butt to deal with when you need parts. And I think a trailer disc would help cut through this heavy clay and rocks I have a lot better than a three point.
