Looking for a brake band lining kit for an H-3 or HD3.
The band is good just the material is worn down getting close to the rivits. Was hoping to drill out the old rivits and put new liners on. Anyone know of vendors that sell just the liners and rivits? I see General Gear has aftermarket bands but would prefer to keep the OEM Allis Band that is in good shape.

Search brake band re-lining, in your town. Around here, wareheim brake in Baltimore used to do it. I haven't had the occasion to look up if they are still in business...

McMaster Carr - sells band material but you will need a rivet press or access to one ad also drill and countersink.

You might also be able to bond the material, with an epoxy type material. You might have to look up the right stuff.

The riveters are available from several of the suppliers for light aircraft brake pads/rivets as well.

Couple of Items to share - this is a 1962 machine.
A single brake band contains 7 pads - 2" width x 3 5/8" length. Total of 28 brass rivets needed to install all pads- one lining. Assuming at some point AC Industrial Engineers realized the merit of a single continuous lining as opposed to 7 individual sections. Thank you for the good information guys.... Orangeman
