BeGe hydraulic pump

Are there any BeGe rear pto pumps to fit a Hd 6 out there, I would like to get one to work the ram on my giant disc's and to operate a blade tilt without interfering with the existing hydraulics on the tractor. 

Some guys have made them up I believe Peter. I think Merv said D4 7U pump was a good choice because it provided flow at relatively low revs

I was told HD5 and HD6 pto gearing is half engine speed, so at average HD6 operating engine speed, you have got around 800 rpm at the pto, which is close to the old Caterpillar engine speeds, hence the D4 7U pump suitability. The same speed matching theory was used when the LeTourneau cable control units from old larger Caterpillars were used on HD5/HD6 for cable scrapers. That approximate 800 rpm pto output was close enough to the big low revving Cat tractors with pto`s running at engine speed

BeGe pumps are common here in California,but most are warn out.Even new they only make 1000 psi.There are 4 common pumps 650, 850 in a large size and small size1000,and 1100.The mounting hardware is what is made for the tractor models.If you find a pump the mounting hardware can be built by someone with basic machining ability.I had one made 30 years ago still working if only the pump and valve wasn't warn out.

I don't know what you have now,but if not like a Cat set up with pump and valve inside the tank just change valves.I see your not in the US but there is a place called Surplus Center here that has a good online catalog and some good prices on hydraulic pumps and valves.I have several BeGe's I would like to replace with a higher pressure system. Its as much a case as putting a hydraulic system albeit low pressure which is , what would have been normal for that type of machine, I have a tractor with a diverter valve but they are hard to come by as well.

think I read about someone who adapted a cat 44 hyd control to a HD6 somewhere on the internet. And thought it was a cunning idea. 7u D4 ran at 1400rpm. not too sure on the flow but think would be around the 19gpm figure; pressure is 1000psi.
easiest way for your rear hyd Donoman would be a diverter valve sending oil to a rear control bank. That's what this HD6ew had for this setup, was twin rear circuits for ripper and tilt; or hyd scraper.
But you could look at the 7u hyd option; plenty of 7u D4s wrecked in NZ.
