Be careful this weekend. Sounds like your weather is going to be very entertaining.
Stay safe..

We had 8 inches of snow here. Blew around a bit but not bad. Farther north had rain, freezing rain and then snow and lots of power outages!

I just come in from checking cows. Must be six to eight inches of snow out there. Was supposed to have quit snowing by now, but it's still coming down. Had some serious fog events about 90 days ago. I told my son that if the 90 days after a fog wives tale has anything to it, we'll be getting some moisture right when we start calving, and it most likely won't be in the form of rain. Guess that one was spot on.

We were forecast to get 12+". Haven't been out yet, but looking out the door, I'm thinking we maybe got 6".
I'll probably venture out later in the day to make sure I can get to the highway. Boss called Friday afternoon and said overtime was approved for me to come in a couple hrs early to start moving snow, because I am the only one that runs the road grader.
Looking at the past to see the future.

We are in the middle of a blizzard, about ten inches now, still coming down, worse to the east Wisconsin, Michigan.

Son has been shoveling snow for a crew from midnight until....  he is still not done at 10 AM.   Slave drivers.

That is the nature of working with snow!! Lol. I remember many nights under the snowblower with a dump truck. Many other nights plowing with half ton truck. When the sun came up we went to our day job!!! Smile

Egads!  That would make for a long, yawn filled day.

Let me send our township snow plow driver to someone who has snow. I guess we had 8 inches and it is blowing and drifting with 2-3 drifts. But the sun is shining and the road past our house is only wet. Isn't there a lever that raises and lowers the blade. They must really like changing blades. I suppose they do it often enough the bolts and nuts don't have time to rust. Besides wearing out roads they can't afford to fix. Ok my rant is over . I know a lot of people to the north have it worst today. Sitting in the house waiting for the wind to stop instead of outside chasing snowflakes around.
