My kids choose to get me an Xbox controller for Christmas. They wanted to make it more personal so they designed it with one of my interests in mind. They used AC colors including orange, dark blue, cream and black. Also on the front below the buttons "Allis-Chalmers" is etched on the cover.

Now I just need to learn how to play.
I think it's easier to operate a tractor than figure out what all these damn buttons do.
Thanks & God Bless

Nice touch, looks about the same as trying to memorize all the buttons on the new combines.

Way too much technology for me. I had to get my granddaughter to show me how to operate my iphone.
Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God.

Uh....I have no idea how to use one of those! Like was previously stated, that looks like trying to figure out the buttons on a new combine! They're not like our L3 which has each button labeled in English, with a picture. Now they just have a picture, and you have to try to figure it out.

can you order the controller in any color and have them add buttons of the color you want ?  Or is it a special order where then only make one orange case ?
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

My son keeps "dragging me into the 21st Century"  This Christmas he gave me Alexa - a computer box you talk to and Alexa gives answers.
Must not like my voice though.  I have trouble talking to her.
I try to keep up and have done a decent job till recently.  Looks like the new technology just comes too fast to assimilate.
Best of luck to all us "older generations" that have trouble keeping up.
Good Luck!

Just replaced my embarrassingly old Nokia cell phone ( I joked that it had granite buttons) with a new LG "smartphone". But the smart part doesn't apply to me. By the time I figure out how to use it, it will also be obsolete. Think I have "hit the wall" of technology. Bob@allisdowneast
I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not sure.

I have 2 rotary dials. One wall mount and one desk. Grand kids can't get over how to use them. They think that they are really cool.

I have a 1948 rotary dial Western Bell telephone I still use. I like it.
Only thing, forget sleeping through a call! If you're asleep when the phone rings, the living daylights will be scared out of you! I'm a really deep sleeper, and I sleep through thunderstorms all the time, never hearing a thing. But this phone has about made me jump out of bed several times! LOL!!

Creston, usually on the left side is a sliding lever that turns the sound down/up.  Kind of hard to spot and some don't have it at all.  Take a look....

Nope, this one doesn't have anything. I've looked several times, and even opened it up to take a look. Nothing. Oh well...it's still pretty awesome!

LOL, nice thought with the A-C orange and stuff on it though.

That is a great way for them to mix your interests, pretty cool! I think there is a Farming Simulator game for the XBOX so then you could drive digital tractors too! If the controller says Allis it may as well control farm equipment.

When I was a kid my grandparents in Danforth, Il had a crank phone and a party line. Never was smart enough to use it but you did not discuss any personal business on it because of the party line. I had one aunt that was the best eavesdropper in the world

SWEEEET!  Good luck with the buttons.  My son gave me a PS3.  I use it for playing blueray disks.  And I'm still trying to figure out, pause, rewind, ffw, etc.  I also stream Netflix thru it, but I think I'm gonna cancel that!

Creston, open the phone up, and put a small piece(or two) of electical tape between the ringer hammer and the bell.
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

Wayne, it wasn't a party line, unless you figure about 50 farms as a party............ We had the LAST house on the road and that was how many farms there were to get to the main road.  And then there were X amount of houses before the telephone co where the switch board was.  Heck, you could say "good-bye" to your gal and ONE of you click off and the other would hear 30 or 40 'clicks' after that.  There were NO secrets back then......  Oh yeah, when a city bot cousin came up to the farm......you'd have him put his two fingers on the outlet screws......WATCH him JUMP!!
