Wheels for Model C adjustable front axle.
The front axle tube is adjustable for width. Are the original front wheels designed to be mounted either dished in or dished out to add even more adjustment to the front track? If yes, are there 5 or 10 holes? Consider the wheel lug bolts use a tapered seating, and wouldn't reversible wheels need proper matching tapered holes. And wouldn't that require a second set of 5 holes? Thanks, Brian |

The parts book calls out the same wheel for the adj. C as other B's and C's except for in steel wheels.

I have not seen any reversable front wheels for any Cs, Bs or CAs. They all seem to be the same 5 hole for all the small units

Dad always turned the front wheels around when they were picking corn on his narrow front C. Back in the 50's it always seemed to be muddy when we were picking corn. Turnning the wheels around kept them from packing with mud between them. My grand father did the same with his Farmal H.

your going so slow that it does not make much difference if the holes are countersunk or not. The factory wheels only have 5 holes.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Ok, 5 hole wheels only. I thank all for their help. It's great we have
such a vast knowledge base here. |
