I am sure that this question has been posed on this forum numerous times but I can’t seem to locate the information so here goes. I am in the process of finishing up my 1965 D15 Series II, restoration and I am getting ready to put all of the fluids back in. What are the proper ones to use? I do have an owners manual and I have looked at the recommended fluids but just wondering if there are better ones today that would be applicable?
I am looking for the engine oil, hydraulic pump, power director clutch, transmission, final drives and the front support for power steering.
I see where most of the components call for SAE 20-20W and the steering for Type A transmission oil. Better thoughts? The transmission recommends 249680, what is that equivalent to? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Automatic transmission fluid is good for the power steering.
