I got a blister on my hand today shoveling dirt. I haven't wore one of them in probably 50 years. It's not as aggravating as I remember them to be as a youngster. Maybe I'm just pleased I could accomplish it at my old age!

Well, John, you know how to prevent getting a blister like that? QUIT SHOVELING DIRT!  I guess our hands get tougher with age and we don't work as hard as we once did. I got the start of a couple earlier in the summer while use a hoe to clean out weeds in the garden. Does that make me an old hoer?
