I have been following the bids on the Fanetti Auction of AC tractors. It is interesting to watch the bidding. For price comparison sakes, I wonder what was the original sales price for these items. I asked this in the 6070 (DanD earlier cab seat view picture post), but had not seen any replies. So, I did an online search for original sales prices and found the following tractodata.com prices. I don't know how accurate these prices were. Any of you past AC dealership owners may know different. I was taken by the higher prices of the 175 & 185 tractors. Every tractor had numerous years of production, but only the D21 had (1964) by it's pricing.

looks to me like last years of production prices, on most of them. Things changed a lot from 197? when the 180 was dropped, to 1981 when the 185 was finally dropped.

I edited my post to include an approximate OEM sale price tally for the number of each of those 21 tractors on the sale bill (some models have multiple listings). I quit looking after D17 cause the D15 did not have an OEM sale price listed on tractordata.com.

Sometime during the 6080 production my Dad could have bought a new one from Jack Raemisch in Dane Wisconsin with cab and front-wheel assist for right at $20,000. Had the card with the price on it for many years at home. I'm sure that was not suggested retail price.

Dang. I sweat spending $1500 on a B or C. I guess money is relative--and I have relatively little.

Well what would the math be on inflated prices since we are 30 years ahead? I dont think most of them will bring what they are truly worth

That's it?? The D21 is at 32,500 and climbing. . . Sure hope it's got some sentimental value to the bidders cause I haven't been able to move mine for 10,000 less than that! Hope they go to good homes.

The deals were the 220 mfwwd and the 6070 . Those tractors should have brought another 10k each. Everything else looks pretty salty.

I don't think the 8000 series prices were that far out of line for working tractors given the condition they were in.

So many A/C tractors for sale in one place and so few wealthier buyers put a crimp on some of the prices, I think.

Shameless, Thanks for sharing your new price update. That sounds more inline with what others have shared about their OEM sale price. The AC 7010 is a great 301 tractor with 7000 series trannys, hydraulics, etc. Do you still have it? If so, how many hours does it now have? |

True on the 8000 series values. With the low hours they would have brought that or more on any farm auction. How "good" were the restorations on the other tractors. From the pics I could see a lot of paint on the exhaust manifolds.
