Our f2 came to us with a BIG SHAVER height control. Worked flawlessly til this afternoon. Several wires came unsoldered and fried the 3 position switch. Anybody have any suggestions on where to get parts for the switch box? Can't find any info online. Thanx

I have heard of big shaver header control. Can you give us a picture or description of the switch?   MACK

I can try to get pics tomorow. It's a after-market system that was made by vesco in southern ind. No longer in buisness. Too bad cuz it's a awesome option for that era of machine

did u call a local dealer?  if they worked that well, chances are someone knows something about them.  they proly fit other machines besides gleaners, also!

I am reading that the F3 electrics might work ( with some work)since you already have the hydraulics. Call Tim at B&G equipment, or he may see this thread goes by "TBran".

Vasco used the same plastic switch that Gleaner used on some headers. There were other after market co. That used the same switch.    MACK

Mack, it's the barrel switch in the cab that had wires come loose and fry a switch that controls low-med-hi cut height

It is a common three poison drum switch with a three poison selector switch mounts on the side. EBay--Wwgranger-- or electrical supply will have them.    MACK
