With new changes in Definitions at EPA this crap may finally be leaving. Cost fuels providers Billions for sulphur reduction, cost Trucking Billions for DEF DOC Systems and all the support equipment but worst of all costs were passed to Consumers as these loaded the scales.

I noted in the Political Section, the EPA set this mess upon the Public based of Commiefornia CARB supposed evidence and Science that has been found FALSE.

Noted at 25% REDUCTION of Oxides of Nitrogen, Carbon Dioxide, Less OZONE creation and Defined Less Particulates.  ALL Based upon tests on diesels set on a Dyno running Steady State at 80% Power and Torque, that managed to Touch at some point in that test 25%.  NO KNOWN DIESELS perform in that manner.  Not Marine, Off Road, On Highway, or AG.  The Science was FLAWED.  Lo Sulphur Diesel was supposed to Remove the Particulates, FAILED, then ULSD, that also Failed as for every BTU reduction removing Sulphur, the Fuel Consumption rate INCREASED.  Thus these Flawed DEF Supplied DOC DPF systems force installed.

Point of Fact the reduction levels were less than 15%, Averaged, the Maintenance INSANE, the chance of creating a SLUG Slow Moving machine on a highway in DERATE Immense.  To Clean the DPFs the typical Shop washed them out on a Wash Rack into city sewers or Settling Tanks to be hauled off or physically blown out with compressed air to General Atmosphere.  Catalyst Beds are designed to where CANNOT Function below 1000F, Prefer 1200F, again 80% or Higher Power operation.  

End results, the CONSUMERS Got stuck paying for this crap on EVERY Engine in anything Hauled, Towed, Grown.
