So is there anyone who has even heard of someone paying $1000 for weights. I questioned someone the other day who was asking $1500 for rear steel for a B. I guess if you can get someone to pay it , then the more power to you.

I saw that the other day and wanted to see if he would give me half that for some more as they are only about 200 a set around here, I was at a sale a couple years ago and a d21 brought 15,750 it did have a newer engine in it with only 3000 showing on the meter but the tractor was rough in every sense of the word and the orig tach quit with over 9000 showing (and probally several years this owner) before the new meter, tin was missing and even the balls were wore out and missing on the 3pr arms, anyway a guy told me I didnt know what I was talking about when I said that was wayyyyyyyyyy tooooooo high for that tractor, he told me it was worth over 20000 so I asked how many he wanted at 15 he asked how many I would sell him, told him I would bring him 2 at a time and as many as he was willing to take, gave him my # and he swore he would call but still never has, ha

The lady with the steel rears claims they have sold locally for $600-$1200. The weights and wheels are both in WI, maybe those guys from WI just have tooo much money?
