Ihave a Allis Chalmers grader of unknown vintage due to the info plate being removed when the wing was installed.  It was running rough so I removed the pump and injectors and had them rebuilt .  The engine is a model 11000, No. 11-13775 and engine catalog number is 4358929  I understand the engine has to be timed prior to installation of the pump and have no idea how to do it. does anyone know where  I can obtain a manual on this engine. I'm a retired crane operator , but know little about graders!

An HD 11 dozer manual ought to cover that engine - I think.

Look at a Buda 230, 262 or AC 262 CI engine manual

Thanks - I would never have thought to look into a Buda manual.

Wasn't the 11000 series engine the direct injection 516 with turbo?  Hence my mention of HD 11 engine manuals.

How big is this grader?

AC Forty Fives had 516 Lanova engines (Ex Buda), AC 45's had 10000 engines (direct injection no turbo).  I'm guessing that something like an M100 might have had 11000's.

Was in a hurry, when I posted. Didn't read the OP well, thought he had a dd grader, ignore my advice, the engine is much bigger than the 230s or 262s...Embarrassed
