I have a 1938 B that I am buying that has less that 2 hours on a complete rebuild. The only things that are not new are the block and the head, though they have been reground. The two hours were used to set timing/magneto and make sure it runs properly. everything else in the tractor has been replaced/rebuilt also, front to back. All it really needs is paint as it is original.
I am planning on using this tractor, and I was wondering what special care I need to take in the Break-in period so it will last another 70 years, assuming I can buy gas for it! LOL

At 2 hours it is already past the critcal period.  First time you have it warmed up change the oil to get rid of assembly and break in particles. Most instructions will tell you to not run it wide open for hours and dont let it sit and idle other than that just use it. Far too many error on the side of pussy footing around hour after hour with a new overhaul and its realy not the best thing to do with a new engine IMO.
