I am looking at a K that seems to have good final/drive gear? and undercarage but the motor is missing a lot of parts. Tracks look good. Looks to have been a steering wheel modal but no longer has an actual wheel, looks more like two bars attatched to a stering shaft.
Anyhow I am looking for info on motor parts and rebuilds but I am having little luck finding any thing so far. Main thing is, What motor(s) would actual fit in/on this thing?
Any and all info is welcomed!
Unfortanaly I don't know a lot about crawlers and dozers but am learning fast.LOL
Would upload pics but my computer hates my phone.

Google "Allis Chalmers K" There is a You Tube showing the motor
The K was made 1929 to 1943 If you want something to play in the dirt with you should get something that was built in 1950 or newer.

Thanks Norm that gives me a good idea as to what to expect.

@Dozer. You tube is out between a temperamental laptop and a touchy internet connection I just don't bother.
It would mostly be used for trees. and be a nuisance.  :p
Manly I've been chasing after the k because one its cheap, two its close and they are willing to delver.
