People is there a particular model of electronic ignition that works for the continental 4 or specs that are needed ? Thanks ! And oh yes took advice and switched alternator to Denso mini. You guys saved me some aggravation so thanks again !

Many are using Pertronix... Couple vendors on this site sell them and offer HELP if you have problems.

For the correct electronic kit for your application, we would need the Distributor P/N off the tag of the Distributor. (if its still there)  Also, would need the type of Continental engine you have along with the model of Tractor. If you have a Model G with the N62 Continental on 6V's, we have the E.I.'s in stock. The E.I.'s come in 6VPG, 12VPG, & 12VNG. If you have a G, we have a "how to" on our website on installing an E.I. and it happens to be in a Model G.   HTH

Have them in a OneNinety and D-19 and they work great

I put one in a 1960 f-600 with the 292,,, I sure didn't want to mess with points again due to the location of the distributor,,, yea... not one of 
ford's better ideas....works great
