Hello All-
Getting a new wiring harness made for my 1957 D14, and right now as it sits it doesn't have the rear bullet tail lights. Did the early D14's have these lights on the fenders? I'm thinking about puttin' them back on if they did.......Thanks......Troy

I think they at least had 1 bullet light on the left fender.

Troy, the early D14's had 2 lights just like the WD45 taillight, one on each fender and painted all black to match the headlights, at the introduction of the black bar grille tractors they had the bigger tailights just like the D15 series I. HTH, Rich

Thanks Rich and Mr. Tucker-
How about that auxiliary outlet socket?.......I see in my manual that the wiring diagram has one of those as well. Did they all come with that too?.....Thanks......Troy |

Both my '57 and '59 D-14s have the auxiliary outlet socket, though both don't have the taillights...
they have the cigar lighter sockets but no 'heater' parts...
sigh..win some...lose some..

Our 57 D14 has the rear outlet and yes the small tail lights on both fenders. Remove the fenders when you are ready to run the new wires down fender brace, it will be a whole lot easier.

I do not have any close up of a late black bar D-14 from the rear but from a distance in color it looks like they have two black bullet light.
