I was just wondering if anyone was going to the Tennessee Valley Pioneer Power Association tractor show in Eagleville, TN on Sept 8th and 9th? It's a pretty good little tractor show and it will be my first one as a participant. I would liked to have my tractors in better condition but this year they will be going as working tractors. Anyway, there's a few Tennesseans on this site, and Eagleville isn't that far from Alabama and Kentucky. Here's a link if you would like some info.

Do they run any Hit/Miss engines at that show?

I'm not sure what you mean by Hit/miss engines Corbinstein. Last year they had a lot of the old flywheel type engines. One guy had one rigged up to a homemade can crusher. It was pretty cool. There was a old steam engine running a sawmill. I think there will be two there this year. If you're talking about two cylinder JDs then yes. I may be hauling one myself. A friend at work has a JD A he wants to bring but has no way to haul it. I told him I'd help him out if he decided to go. Hope that answers your question.

It's a little south/east of Nashville. Kind of between Nashville and Murfreesboro. It's on Hwy 99 going out of Murfreesboro. Eagleville is a small town.

Thanks.  My mother in law lives in Hendersonville.  We may check out your club some time when we're visiting.

I was hoping to go but I didn't make it today and looks like I have to work tomorrow.

I've been before but It's been 20 years or more. They had a bunch of hit/miss engines the last time I was there.

I went and pulled my WD45. I didn't do to good, A lot of Oliver's. Track was very hard Saturday, I couldn't get a bite in track and left black marks on track. It was a good pull with a lot of tractors. I had a good time and would like to go back.
