Wanted to pick some allis buffs brains here, I know they made D-10,12,17, and 19 high crops, but... did they make a d-14 or d-15 FACTORY high crop? Not a Thompson conversion? I've seen the 10, 12, etc. factory ones, but have never saw a 14 or 15 factory high crop. Thank you in advance for any light shed on this subject. Edited by Ollie Oliver - 23 Feb 2012 at 3:48pm |

Our D15 II has "tall" fenders that set above the tires (fender bracket it taller). Also a short extension on the footrest to move the front fender brace out a tad (to allow for the longer rear axle housing).

The D-10 . D-12, D-14, D-15, and D-17 to series III had a HIGH CLEARANCE option as shown in the pictures above. D-17 IV and D-19 could be had as true High Crops. The D-17IV HIGH CROP had taller final drives and the D-19 HIGH CROP had final drive drop boxes.

Did the wd45 1955 and up have this same rear wheel as an option on the high crop models? Thanks!

Andrew. The parts book shows a disc wheel for 38" fixed rims as an option for the WD-45. The Oxnard conversions have the standard 28" power shift center and rim with spacers welded to a 38" rim. I have never seen anything to show that a WD-45 was ever available with a 38" power shift wheel like the D series.
