Case ih MX 180 2 wheel drive. Got to drive it at work and was not the least bit impressed. Park brake was a long handle next to the seat you pull up on and it clicks like the 6080's had. Really?? On a modern 150 horse tractor?? That's park?? Got going and the powershift wasn't very smooth at all AND top speed was 19 mph!! With 18.4x42's! Give me my 1979 7045 any day of the week, the mx was quiet but I could not imagine anyone driving one for the first time and thinking "Boy, I gotta get me one of these" Good grief!
Orange & Silver still earnin their keep on the farm: R62, Series IV D17 nf, 185, 6080, 6080 fwa, 220, 1968 D21, 7045, DT240.
